LinkedIn is rolling out photo-tagging.

LinkedIn is launching some new tools, boosting extra ways to generate more activity & engagement. As you can see in this image, the new option gives you the possibility to tag people, via their LinkedIn profile.

1️⃣ After adding your photo while posting, you can tap on the tag icon at the top, or on the image itself to bring up the profile search option.

2️⃣ You can search by typing in a name, then add the relevant tag.

3️⃣ Tagged person will receive a notification, (you don’t have to be linked with the user) Anyone who’s tagged in an image, or the post creator, can remove the tags after posting.

Spamming, not the way to go on LinkedIn. So don’t start randomly tagging people, because most likely it will only harm your brand. But used professionally and with care, the tagging option can be relevant and of value to your content, engagement & network. Its the latest in LinkedIn’s evolving features. LinkedIn keeps on growing and is even hotter in 2019. What are you waiting for to create a decent content-strategy. ———————————————————————————————————-
